We have made two changes to the ranking formula that the ATP changed in 2009 but which we hadn't implemented yet.
The first is that the players that ended the previous year in the top 30 who miss an obligatory masters tournament will, in the next year, be banned from the masters tournament in which they had their best result that year.
The second change is that one of the 4 World Tour 500 tournaments must be after the US Open.
Please note that from now on, if your player is supposed to play masters tournaments he will be punished for not signing up for them. This rule change is not effective for tournaments that have already been played before this news message.
