We added player faces to the game, so you can now see what your players look like!

Also, we will soon start 2 new game worlds, one fast and one slow (2hrs/day). These will start tuesday 19:00 UTC

We added wildcards to the game. These are given preferably to players from the country in which the tournament is held that would otherwise have to play the qualification tournament. If there are no such players then the highest ranking players from the qualification tournament get the wildcards. Players who received a wildcard are marked with [WC] in the tournament draw.

As you probably have noticed, we've updated our menu. The colors should have a little more contrast now.

But, more importantly, the menu has had a major reorganisation. The purpose of the change was to seperate the actions of the rest of the site. This should make it easier to find the things you want to do.

This suggestion came from a discussion on usability on the forum. If you have any suggestions that can improve the usability of Rocking Rackets, please don't hesitate to post it on the forums!

You may have noticed that Rocking Rackets was frequently very slow over the past few days. Apparently we have grown so much that our server couldn't handle it anymore.

Today we have upgraded our server to a more powerful type. It should allow for a lot more growth. The upgrade was a bit of a rocky ride due to the fact that the old server really couldn't handle it anymore.

Anyway, everything has been transferred and most things seem to be working well and fast. You may find that the clocks on some servers have stopped. This is a side effect of the long upgrade period. They should be back to normal in a few hours.

If you want to translate the game to a language that we don't support yet, please contact either Vinnie or myself. We're also looking for translators to maintain and update Italian (88.5% finished), Romanian (88.5%), Japanese (71.4%) and Korean (39.7%).
