We made a change to the match simulation to make the outcome less random. Stronger players now have a larger chance to win a match.

The game has been adapted to the 2009 ATP calendar and point system. These include some serious changes:
A new calendar for the major tournaments: The Hamburg clay masters has been replaced by a Madrid clay masters and the indoor Madrid masters has been replaced by a hardcourt Shanghai masters.
A new point system, giving twice as many points for most major tournaments. It also has larger differences between different rounds and the difference between the major level tournaments and the challengers has been increased.
In addition, the WTC points have been changed, making the difference between different levels smaller and making all WTC and JTC matches best of 5.
The point changes take effect immediately, the new calendar is only used for years that have not already been planned.
As a result you can expect major changes in the next ranking on the next update.

There was a small change to the practise tournaments. They will have only 5 rounds from now (instead of 6) and players take a rest when they get more than 200 fatigue (instead of 300). This is done to reduce the fatigue players get from a practise tournament when going into the next week.
Secondly I'd like to point to the fact that we have created forum sections for different languages. If you prefer Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese or Dutch you can now chat in this language on the forum. Questions to the game admins still need to be put in the english section but you might find more experienced players that can answer your question there.
Lastly: We have reset the history on game world 6 because it was not possible to recover correctly after the major bug there last week. The game should proceed normally from this point on, but everything that happened before this week was removed.
This affects only game world 6, others remain unchanged.

Practise tournaments have been added to the game. These are tournaments for the top players when there are no major tournaments they can join. Read more about this change in the help section under tournaments - practise sessions.
Top players are now no longer allowed to join CH+ tournaments, though registrations that had already been made before the change will stay.
We are still looking for translators for languages that we don't offer to our players yet, in particular Czech and Polish. If you are interested in helping the site by translating to your language please contact me.

We made a large update to the interface today.
First of all, it is now possible to register your players directly from the calendar page. You can also see there if one of your players is already registered for a tournament.
Secondly, the display of player's tournaments on the right is slightly changed, separating running/past tournaments from registration and showing more past tournaments and less registrations
Thirdly, the blocks on the right are stored in the session now instead of in the url. This has some minor effects like having the same blocks in all windows in the same session and blocks are not included when you paste a link to someone else.
And last but not least: this should have come with an overall performance improvement.
